Norm
Augustinus the storyteller...
"...There were two
pies, one cake and a castle made of sugar cubes. The contestants were off
socializing looking modest to one another but knowing inside that they were the
winner. Pie One: blueberry entombed in sourdough.
The canned (not fresh) berries had soaked through the top of the pie making it
unattractive even though it was sitting atop a antique crystal base. When no
one is looking I push a number two pencil into the pie, honorable mention.
Pie Two: peach. In addition to the pie the baker has made a cassette tape
using her good southern voice. "Peach pie is a tradition as old as the
hills," says the female voice coming from the player. When no
one is looking I remove the tape from the player then stuffing it into the
pie, honorable mention. In
a one of a kind, original voice Norm Augustinus chronicles life as he
sees it.
